SITE INFORMATION: What is the size of your lot/parcel?

Do you have access to a tax map, property survey or site plan (If yes, please share a copy if possible)?

Are you aware of any past uses of the land (farming, logging, fill areas)?

Please describe the buildings currently on your property (include number, type and approximate size):

Are there any desirable views you would like to highlight? Does your land have any unique natural features (wetlands, mature trees, streams)?

Are there any undesirable views you would like to screen?

Do you have any specific privacy or screening needs?

Do you know what type of soil you have?

Have you had your soil texted? If yes, please provide results if available. If not, are you interested in getting one done?

Have you noticed any areas of soil loss or erosion? If so, where?

Please describe the topography of your land. Where are the high and low points? Are there any slopes?

Do you know the septic system, leach field or sewer lines?

Are there any major site challenges you would like to address (Drainage, invasive plants, poor soil, difficult access)?

HOUSEHOLD, LIFESTYLE + INTEGRATION: Are there any local covenants, regulations, or HOA rules that affect landscaping or gardening?

How old is your home?

Do you need your landscape to be accessible to anyone with limited mobility or disabilities - no or in the future?

Are there any key utility features that need to be considered in the design (roof overhang, power lines, underground utilities, drainage systems, etc.)?

Are there any known allergies in your household that might influence plant selection?

How much time do you currently spend maintaining your landscape?

How much time would you ideally like to spend on maintenance each week/month?

Do you currently use a landscape maintenance service or maintain the property yourself?

How long do you plan to live on this property?

On a scale of 1-5 how interested are you in growing your own food? (1 = not at all, 5 = fully self-sufficient)

During which seasons do you primarily use or spend time in your outdoor spaces?

Is there any part of your property you or your family consider special or meaningful?

GARDEN & DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS: What moods or tones do you want your landscape to convey (peaceful, lively, playful, formal etc.)

Are you interested in edible planting? If yes, are there any fruits, vegetables, or herbs you would like to include?

Do you have any specific plants you love and would like to see included in the design?

Do you have a preferred color palette for you landscape?

Do you gravitate toward linear (structured) or organic (flowing)?

What type of hardscape materials appeal to you (wood, concrete, pavers, natural stone, gravel, etc.)?

What kind of landscape structures or special features would you like to see included in your design (water feature, pergola, shade structure, patio, art installation, garden beds, etc.)?
