Bringing a rare mix of hands-on craftsmanship and big-picture oversight to our team – Aidan is the glue that holds Samwell’s together. With a background in masonry that spans brick, block, stone, and large-scale commercial stone rainscreen systems, he’s worked his way through nearly every role in the field—from labourer to project coordinator—always with quality, safety and a getting things done the right, most efficient way.

After relocating from Vancouver to Vancouver Island with his family in search of a more community-centred way of life, Aidan made the shift from large Commercial Construction to Residential Outdoor Living spaces. Before the move, he managed multimillion-dollar commercial projects, handling everything from estimates and materials to client communication and site logistics. That depth of experience now shows up in every project he touches—keeping things organized, on track, and built to endure.
